E3 2014 Press Conference Round Up: EA Games 'Star Wars: Battlefront', 'Dragon Age', 'FIFA 15' and More Showcased

The Electronics Arts (EA) press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles on Monday kicked off with a Star Wars: Battlefront trailer then expanded with the new games fans can expect from its developers.

While Andrew Wilson, CEO EA, spoke about the different games being developed by his company and their imminent launch dates, Aaryan Flynn, General Manger, EA Studio, presented a new game Dragon Age: Inquisition, which is scheduled for release next October. A live musical presentation on the game's trailer followed after.

Presenting The Sims 4, EA Executive director Rachel Franklin said," You have so many possibilities to create," and added that the story of every Sim can be created in a manner that connects better with other characters in the game.

EA Creative Director Brain Hayes made a video presentation of the Ultimate Fighting Championship featuring the legendary Bruce Lee and the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu artist BJ Penn. This game is scheduled for a June 17 launch.

They continued by promoting and providing details for the next generation hockey game NHL 15, which is scheduled for release on Aug. 25, EA Sports' PGA Tour was also confirmed. Pushed as a "golf without limits" game, PGA Tour is scheduled for release during spring 2015.

EA is also releasing its soccer game FIFA 15 this fall, just in time for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The latest soccer game will include a new "ball physics system" that enhances contact with the ball. In addition, players will have the opportunity to "feel the physicality of the sport" from possession tackles and shirt pulling.

Before concluding the meet, DICE General Manager Karl Magnus Troedsson and Visceral Games General Manager Steve Papoutsis set up the final game presentation - Battlefield Hardline.
