E3 Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Press Conference Details: Start Time, Dates, Schedule

With the E3 2014 just round the corner, major banners in the gaming industry have begun confirming the dates and timing of their respective press conferences. The information below will help you check out when major game developers and marketers like Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft and others will be holding their respective press meets at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this year.

Microsoft

The Mountain View-based American tech titan and game developer will be the first to hold a press conference at the E3 2014. According to Major Nelson, Microsoft will hold their presses meet at 12:30 p.m. ET on June 9.

The company's press briefing , titled "Xbox: Game On," is expected to reveal details regarding the titles announced earlier, and trailers of games that are unannounced and scheduled to be released in 2014 or later. The company has already announced that its press conference will be streamed live on Xbox Live, Windows Phone and Xbox website.

The pre-show coverage will commence at 12:00 p.m. ET, while Spike TV will air the press briefing in the United States and Canada from 12:00 pm ET.

In addition, Microsoft will organize events both prior to and after the press briefing for Xbox fans in Los Angeles as well as those watching at home.

Sony

The Japanese game developer has confirmed that their E3 press briefing will be held at 6:00 p.m. ET on June 9 after the press meets of Microsoft, Electronic Arts (EA) and Ubisoft.

It is rumored that Sony may announce a Project Morpheus update at its press conference. It is also being speculated that the company may organize a demonstration of the Uncharted PS4 game, and make announcements regarding "GTA V" for the gen-next console and "Last of Us."

It may also officially release PlayStation Now, a game rental service.

Nintendo

Skipping a conventional E3 press briefing, Nintendo will organize a digital event to display its latest games and make new announcements. Nintendo has announced that it will hold a special direct broadcast on June 10 to share more information on the imminent gaming experience for Nintendo platforms in 2014 and later.

Nintendo also has plans to organize a "Super Smash Bros" invitational, wherein 16 highly experienced players are pitted against one another in the first-ever tournament of its kind sponsored by the company.

In addition, the Japanese game developer will allow gamers to participate in "Super Smash Bros." for Wii U prior to its release in a "Play-fest" at the Best Buy sites.
