'Duck Dynasty's The Robertson Family Hosts First Annual K-Love Awards in Nashville,TN [PHOTOS]
If you haven't watched the show "Duck Dynasty" yet, you have probably heard of them by now.
"Duck Dynasty" airs on A&E and is one of the highest rated shows on television today.
The reality show follows around the Robertson family who have made a multi-million dollar business out of making some of the best, if not the best, duck calls around.
Their distinct redneck look of long hair and big beards, as well as their large personalities has won them into America's hearts and living rooms.
Four members of the family, Phil (the founder) & his wife along with Jase & his wife Missy made the trip to Nashville,TN over the weekend to host the First Annual K-Love Fan Awards.

If you haven't watched the show, the Robertson family closes every episode in prayer and routinely talk about their faith.
While hosting the Robertson's said that they actually talk about their faith even more than the show lets on, it just gets edited out a lot.
Jase Robertson did most of the speaking with the others adding comments here and there. On the show, he is mostly cynical with his brother, so it was nice to see another side of him at the Awards. Jase was very eloquent and said right from the beginning that he wasn't going to use the TelePrompTer but he was just going to speak from the heart.
That was what he did and he spoke very real and honest in his serious moments. I was very impressed with him and his whole family.
In a surprising moment for the crowd, Jase's wife Missy actually song "Above All" with Michael W. Smith at one point in the show.

Then later, their son, Reed, came out and sat down on a stool and played Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" with just him and his guitar. His guitar playing left some to be desired, but he did have a nice voice and the crowd seemed to really enjoy it.
Overall, the Robertson's came off as a very solid family and very genuine people individually. It definitely gives you a different perspective on them when you watch "Duck Dynasty" on TV again!
