Duck Dynasty's Willie Robertson Gets Tweet of Support from One Direction's Liam Payne, 'Huge Love to You'
Duck Dynasty's Robertson family has one more A-list celebrity that is a fan of the A&E reality series and its Southern kinfolk.
One Direction member Liam Payne set social media ablaze when he tweeted a post to Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson. In the tweet, the English vocalist conveyed his support for the Robertson family in spite of the previous debate due to Phil Robertson's comments made in a GQ interview, when expressed his views that Homosexuality is a sin.
"Huge love to you/your family huge respect for your business prosperities and the family values you still all behold. big fan," tweeted Payne to Willie via Twitter on Saturday.
Payne then explained his Twitter message by sending another tweet emphasizing that he does not approve with everything the family has said.
"Being a fan of someones show and the way they still hold a family together doesnt mean i am ok with all they say," continued Payne on Twitter.
Willie has not replied to Payne's Twitter comments as of yet.
Immediately following Phil's comments, A&E restored the Duck Commander back to the show on December 27 after a brief suspension.
It appears Payne is not the only viewer that watches the A&E series. Duck Dynasty returned last Wednesday night to huge ratings as its Season 5 premiere had 8.5 million viewers tune in according to EOnline. Last year's Season 4 premiere had 11.8 million viewers.
Duck Dynasty airs on the A&E network on Wednesdays at 10pm EST.
