'Duck Dynasty' Season 9 Cast News: Wrestler Kurt Angle Joins The Series, Robertson Family Faces Changes

Professional wrestler Kurt Angle is set to join the growing cast ensemble of A&E's American reality television series, "Duck Dynasty." Also, the Robertson family will also deal with some changes in the series' season 9.

On Dec. 23, Angle himself confirmed on Twitter that fans are going to see him in A&E's "Duck Dynasty." He wrote on Twitter, "@2WTalk: I see that @RealKurtAngle is going to be on the up coming new season of @DuckDynastyAE" "It's True."

According to Christian Post, Angle's appearance in "Duck Dynasty" is not the first appearance of the professional wrestler outside the wrestling ring. As per the publication, the former wrestling champ also appeared as a guest star in an Indian children's show entitled "Baal Veer."

With Angle starring in A&E's "Duck Dynasty," is it assumed that the strength and sportsmanship of the masculine members of the Robertson family are set to be challenged.

"Duck Dynasty" season 9 will also see some changes in the Robertson family in 2016, according to Reality TV World. As per the publication, the college family members have to go to the university to start a new chapter in their education. In addition, Willie and Alan are set to assist Miss Kay in opening a bakery, which is a new business venture.

The upcoming "Duck Dynasty" season 9 is also set to see Willie settle an old dodgeball score and a frogging challenge while Jase may have a closer relationship with his in-laws.

Also, the Duck Commander team will also send their two wounded veterans on a trip to Monroe and with the help of former United States Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell, the team will conduct a color run to raise awareness to wounded veterans.

A&E's "Duck Dynasty" season 9 is set to premiere on Jan. 13, 2016.
