Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson Tells of His Encounter with Bigfoot, or Does He? 'Whatever it is it Sounds Very, Very Bad' (EPISODE RECAP)
In yesterday's episode of A&E's Duck Dynasty, "From Duck 'Til Dawn," the Robertson family battled multiple obstacles including a malfunctioning smoke detector and the mythological creature the Bigfoot.
Willie Robertson offered to help his Duck Commander workers in their most recent all-night packing gathering at the factory. Willie tries to fit in with his family and friends at the factory when they start talking about the classic 1980's action-adventure T.V. series MacGyver.
"You need a weapon? Give me a flip-flop and a Big League Chew," said Vietnam Vet Uncle Si Robertson who is the family's version of MacGyver.
However, Willie ends up aiding his brother Jase to search for a malfunctioning smoke detector and would later become a target of a prank at the end of the episode.
"When I hear a sound that's particularly unpleasant, I gotta put a stop to it," said Jase in the episode, as he explained why he is searching for the smoke detector.
Meanwhile, Phil Robertson told a story to his granddaughters after they convince him to allow them to have a sleep over with him and Miss Kay.
"Once upon a time a long time ago, I was in the dark woods and I heard this sound," said Phil to his granddaughters in an attempt to scare them to go to sleep. "It sounded like a big animal and I could growls and grunts."
His wife Miss Kay then offered her thoughts. "Was it Bigfoot?" Miss Kay interrupted.
Then the Robertson patriarch continued to tell his story.
"I didn't know at the time but whatever it is it sounds very, very bad," Phil continued. "So I get my gun ready and you know what it was? It was Uncle Si."
The critically acclaimed reality series Duck Dynasty airs on the A&E network on Wednesdays at 10pm EST.
