Duck Dynasty Season 4 cast update!

Who said God doesn't like Duck Dynasty? In fact, He's putting His stamp of approval on the Season 4 cast, sending Alan Robertson, a full-time Louisiana pastor to join the Dynasty when the A&E show returns.

Best part...Alan doesn't have a beard!

"The beards are so iconic," Alan said in an interview with the New York Post. "All this time I've been flying under the radar

Alan felt called to join the family reality show because he felt it would be a bigger platform to share the Word of God.

"What I do for our church - you see, it's a pretty good-sized church - impacts a lot of people, but because of my association with the show, I'll get to minister to a lot more people," the new Duck Dynasty cast member told The New York Post.

In fact the Duck Dynasty April finale was viewed by over 9.6 million people.

Though Alan claims he's compelled by God to join Duck Dynasty, he and his wife Lisaworry about their two daughters, Alex and Anna being in the public eye. Having already witnessed a Duck Dynasty fan following him into the bathroom on a promo tour, Alan knows joining the show's 4^th season could have ramifications for his family.

"My children are grown, but all of my brothers' children are teenagers now, so how is this crazy world going to impact them?" Alan says. "We think about John Luke and Sadie, who are such a big part of the show and they're teenagers, you know? They need to be just normal teenagers. We pray about that."
