Drudge Report News: Who Shot Down Flight MH17 Question Asked With Photo of Putin

The conservative website, Drudge Report, has been highlighting some big questions about the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17.

Igor Girkin, also called Igor Strelkov, the commander of the Donetsk People's Army, had initially proclaimed that it was his group that shot down the plane. While some believe that the Russian president Vladimir Putin and Russia are behind the attack, the others argue that it must be Ukraine who mistook the Malaysian flight for Putin's presidential jet.

US President Obama is of the notion that the Russians are the ones ultimately responsible for letting the incident. An article from the New York Times says that President Obama pointed to the pro-Russian separatists in the shooting of the plane, and that they had been armed by the Russians.

"We are going to make sure the truth is out," said the President of the United States. "We don't have time for propaganda. We don't have time for games." and "Evidence must not be tampered with."

He further added, "Investigators need to access the crash site. And the solemn task of returning those who were lost on-board the plane to their loved ones needs to go forward immediately."

Obama also "resisted blaming Putin personally, saying that the government does not know exactly who fired the missile."

Earlier, the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, was quoted as saying that it was the fault of the Ukrainian government that failed to reach a compromise with the separatists. Ukraine has replied back with an agonizing picture of a tiny corpse lying dead with a caption, "This baby's death is on your conscience" addressed to Putin.
