DRK2LGHT release inspirational single "St. Jude Strong" benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Washington, D.C. – DRK2LGHT is one of Gospel music’s hottest rising groups.  The trio of gentlemen have released their new single, "St. Jude Strong", in partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

DRK2LGHT, comprised of Washington, D.C.  natives Javon Inman, Rob Mercer, and CD Porter formed in 2019. The group boasts 242K+ Spotify Streams and 74K+ VEVO music streams. DRK2LGHT also utilizes its social media influence by posting weekly online men’s devotionals “Man 2 Man” as well as general lighthearted and spirited social media content and music covers.

DRK2LGHT is excited to release “St. Jude Strong” to further St. Jude’s mission that No Child Should Die in the Dawn of Life. DRK2LGHT penned this song after an initial conversation and overwhelming inspiration by the message of St. Jude’s founder, Danny Thomas.

DRK2LGHT’s behind the scenes video of “St. Jude Strong” has already captivated over 5000 viewers.  In this effort, DRK2LGHT teamed up with other DMV award-winning recording artists and worship leaders to deliver a dynamic performance of fiery vocals and emotional lyrics.  "St. Jude Strong" is written by Inman, Mercer, and Porter and produced by Tone Joneez with the uplifting sounds of pop and driving power of Gospel music.
