Drake Slams Rihanna Rumors on Twitter: Media Misinterpreted Concert Photo
Recently, Drake was pegged with allegations that he had called ex-girfriend Rihanna, the devil, during one of his concerts. Apparently a fiery photo of Rihanna appeared with a number 6 on it. However, Drake came out and set the record straight that the photo has been misinterpreted by the media.
The Canadian rapper recently posted a message on his Twitter account saying "My album title is VIEWS FROM THE 6. The 6 is Toronto. Rih is a great girl who I know is about to kill this tour with Eminem. It's all love!!" he wrote.
It all started at Drake's concert August 5 at the OVO Fest in Toronto when the image of Rihanna was shown to the audience during his performance of the song "Days in the East," which others speculate to be about his relationship with the songstress.
The famous hit song was thought of as Drake's message to Rihanna regarding her relationship with her ex-boyfriend and famous RnB singer Chris Brown. At one point the artist sang, "Told you about givin' him chances on chances on chances/He's not holdin' you down, he's holdin' you back."
Despite Drake's Twitter message explaining that the "6" in the photo is referring to Toronto and not calling Rihanna the devil, some reports are still claiming that it is odd since Rihanna's face is there which has no connection to Toronto.
Drake and Rihanna's relationship status has been in the media headlines ever since they started dating early this year. The on-again off-again couple are reported to be currently on a break which might be a good explanation for Drake's recent actions.
Rihanna, who remains silent about the recent media buzz, is currently on tour with Eminem and their "The Monster" tour. On August 17, Rihanna and Eminem are scheduled to perform at the Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and on August 22 - 23 they will be at Comeria Park in Detroit.
