‘Dragon Ball Super’ News: TV Anime Poster Reveals 'New Mysterious Villain' Speculated to be a New God [VIDEO]
The official website of the upcoming anime television series 'Dragon Ball Super' has revealed that a new mysterious villain will be playing a major role in the series, which is scheduled to be released soon in Japan on Fuji Television.
Quoting the Attack on Fanboy, IB Times reports that the revelation is as part of the latest poster that depicts a number of the new characters in the upcoming TV anime series. In fact, the new poster has already triggered speculations among 'Dragon Ball' fans regarding the characters in the photo. They are eager to know more about these characters.
There were speculations that the mysterious villain character would probably be a new god with more powers. The poster also includes some returning characters like Beerus and Whis.
The poster contains two characters. The first one is a heavier form of Beerus, while the second is probably the female form of Whis. According to the report, the heavier Beerus is revolving Earth on its finger while giving out a wicked grin. A number of reports have speculated that the heavier Beerus may possibly be the villain.
According to the report in Attack on Fanboy, fans will be required to wait for official clarification from producer Toei Animation regarding the poster. In all probability, the clarification is unlikely to come before July.
Recently, Fuji Television also released the first trailer of the series displaying Goku and some other members of his gang. It has been confirmed that even Gotenks will also be part of the series, starring Japanese actress Masako Nozawa.
The 'Dragon Ball Super' is the first series produced in 18 years and it will go live on Fuji TV at 9 a.m. on July 5. Currently, the series will only be available in Japan. As of now, the producers are yet to announce the official release dates for the U.S. or European versions.
