Dove Award Winner Clay Crosse Preps Return To Radio, Goes For Adds Today
Popular Christian recording artist Clay Crosse is making his long-awaited return to radio this week. The Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter has not one, but two new radio singles going for adds today, with "Working On A Building," featuring Russ Taff and Melinda Doolittle, being serviced to AC and Gospel radio formats, and "When I Lift My Hands" being serviced to Soft AC and Inspirational radio formats.
"I've been a huge fan of Clay Crosse since the mid-90's when he first started. But after listening to his latest CD, I can honestly say that this is his best yet," declares Jeff McLaughlin of A-Sides Radio Promotion. "Great songwriting paired with one of my favorite producers, Regie Hamm, topped with Clay's signature vocals makes for a great album. I cannot wait to get these new singles into the hands of the music directors at the radio stations."
Listeners will be encouraged to enter into worship as Crosse wraps his emotion-laden vocals around the prayerful, piano-driven praise ballad "When I Lift My Hands." A video of "When I Lift My Hands" can be viewed at youtube.com/watch?v=IoFXs-ELTaE,
Adding to the excitement of Crosse's soulful, funk-inflected Gospel barnburner "Working On A Building," the second single, are dynamic performances by contemporary Christian music legend Russ Taff and American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle.
Crosse, who has topped the charts with nine No. 1 singles, including "I Surrender All" and "He Walked A Mile," returns to the music scene with a lineup of tour dates and personal appearances, including meeting with the industry and media at the recent 2013 ICRS Convention. The four-time Dove Award winner is currently promoting his new CD, reDedication, the recording artist's first album of new music since 2000.
