Dottie Peoples Performs On Stellar Awards
Grammy ® Award- nominated, Dove, Stellar, GMWA, NAACP Image Award-Winning Singer DOTTIE PEOPLES kicks off 2013 with growing momentum around the release of her new CD release, I GOT THIS - LIVE!, bowing February 5, 2013. She is performing on the 2013 Stellar Gospel Music Awards (Jan. 19, 2013) and Bobby Jones Gospel (Feb. 17, 2013), debuting her radio show on Rejoice Musical Soulfood, launching a promotional tour, and receiving high accolades for her CD's debut single, eponymously titled, "I Got This," which is New & Active at Gospel radio, this week.
"2013 is lining up to be a busy year," said Peoples. "With my new CD, radio show, and many performances and events planned, my ministry is starting the year in an exciting way. I pray the Lord will use me and my music to encourage and inspire people this new year."
I Got This - Live! releases on February 5, 2013 through Dottie's independent label DP Muzik Group with sales and distribution through Thirty Tigers/Sony/RED and Provident. The debut single "I Got This" is available through iTunes and all digital retailers. I Got This - Live! is a collection of 13 tracks featuring Dottie at her finest - praise and worship, contemporary and traditional gospel music delivered through her signature powerhouse vocals. Recorded at Siloam Church International in College Park, Ga., I Got This - Live! includes songs such as the title cut and radio single "I Got This," the classic "Everything Must Change," and praise and worship songs "Welcome" and "Manifest Your Glory."
On Saturday, January 19, Dottie performs her current single "I Got This" live on GMC as part of the 2013 Stellar Gospel Music Awards. The Stellar Awards is the premier Gospel event recognizing and honoring African American artists and is produced by Central City Productions.
"I Got This" is making strides at Gospel radio landing on the New & Active chart at Gospel radio this week, and fans can purchase the single online from iTunes and all digital retailers. Peoples is planning an upcoming tour making stops at churches, special events, radio and media outlets across the country in support of the single and CD release.
