'Doctor Strange' News Update: First Trailer Released; Rachel McAdams Going To Play Night Nurse

The first trailer of "Doctor Strange" debuted on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and what made it even more remarkable was the cameo appearance of Rachel McAdams.

Set to hit theaters in November, "Doctor Strange" is a superhero movie that is expected to introduce the mystical and magical realms of the Marvel cinematic universe. It revolves around the quest for a miracle cure of egotistical surgeon named Doctor Stephen Strange, who severely damaged his hands after meeting a car accident.

Trailer for the upcoming film features a "Matrix"-like scene with Tilda Swinton. And while it does not give as much exposure to Rachel McAdams who is there for just around 30 seconds, it seems that her character will play a big role in the life of the superhero.

The character of Rachel McAdams has not been confirmed by Marvel yet, but there have already been rumors surrounding her. It seems that she will play the role of a nurse who ends up having a romantic involvement with Dr. Steven Strange after his car accident.

In the trailer, she walks next to a hospital gurney that contains Dr. Strange. Rumor has it that she will play Night Nurse, the alter ego initially assigned to Linda Carter.

The trailer for "Doctor Strange" came shortly after the release of the new trailer for "Suicide Squad," but it failed to be as well-received as the other as it did not capture an incredible, noteworthy kind of spirit. Some netizens also note that actor Benedict Cumberbatch is quite a bad match for his role as the titular character.
