'DmC: Devil May Cry' Definitive Edition For Xbox One & PS4 Release Date Moved Up One Week
It has been announced by developer Ninja Theory last week that they are moving up the release of "DmC Devil May Cry" Definitive Edition a week earlier than expected, setting a launch date for March 10.
"Devil May Cry" is a video game series created by Hideki Kamiya. It was originally intended to be the sequel to Capcom's "Resident Evil" series, but eventually ended up being developed into its own series.
Now Ninja Theory is going to release a remastered version of 2013's action adventure, hack and slash game "DmC: Devil May Cry" and are making it available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 1080p at 60fps.
The company announced the news via Twitter last week, and while they didn't state a reason as to why the release date was moved up, they did release new screenshots of the game to excite fans and gamers.
Described as an "improved and optimized" of the original 2013 game, Ninja Theory has stated that the new edition will deliver a "definitive" experience for gamers. It was also a chance for the developers to add in the changes that they never got the change to add to the original game.
The game comes will all the DLCs and expansion packs available for "DmC: Devil may Cry." However, it also boasts improved textures, more weapons and character skins, a manual target lock feature, balance tweaks, as well as an additional chapter featuring Vergil's Downfall.
Gamers will also get to see new costumers for Dante and Vergil. They will also get to play as Dante's twin brother in Vergil's Bloody Palace Mode, and a new difficulty level has been added named Gods Must Die, as well as additional Must Style Mode and Hardcore Mode. There are also additional social features, achievements, and leaderboards.
"DmC: Devil May Cry" Definitive Edition was initially announced in December and will be available for $40 upon release.
