Dexter Season 8 Spoilers!

As usual, Sunday night's episode was stellar.

Season 8, the final installment in Showtime's uber-smash, is shaping up to be one of the best season's yet.

Episode 5 "This Little Piggy" opened with a family therapy session between Dexter, Deb and their surrogate mother Dr. Vogel. In the wake of Deb's failed suicide attempt [one in which she almost killed Dexter as well], Vogel takes it upon herself to begin the healing process. Though steering the car into a river/bay just seemed like another crazy outburst from a confused Deb was actually the breaking point in which Dexter's sister can finally begin rehabilitation.

Deb's resilience surprises even Vogel. In Episode 5 Deb not only starts to under Dexter's personality but also takes it once step further and helps him find and kill Vogel's kidnapper, A.J. Yates.

Without giving away too many spoilers, next week's Dexter Episode 6 "A Little Reflection" will feature Dexter's last girlfriend and now prison mate Hannah.

Also in next Sunday's episode, Zach Hamilton is the new suspected killer of Mr. Hamilton's housekeeper/mistress Norma. With Yates out of the way, and Vogel safe for now, will Dexter take matters into his own hands.
