'Dexter' Season 8 Episode 9 Recap 'Make Your Own Kind of Music' Upcoming SPOILERS Read Here (VIDEO)

"Dexter" in it's final season isn't exactly speeding to an epic finish line. If you have watched every episode this season, then even huge fans of the show (which I am) feels it is more crawling to the finish. We just have to trust that the final three episodes will make up for a pretty anti-climatic ending to this point.

Dr. Vogel is neither very likable or unlikable at the same time this season. She just kind of always gives off a guilty vibe without ever coming out and saying it. We did find out last night why this was, as she had failed in treating her son Oliver who turns out to be the brain surgeon all along. Now as the episode ended, we see Dr. Vogel hiding her son from Dexter so he will not be killed.

Many questions are left, like why Deb would actually agree to hold up Hannah for a few days while trying to get back on the force at the same time. She even went as far to eat food that Hannah cooked (after poisoning her twice) and it did make for a humorous scene but very unrealistic.

Deb really pulls the fans heart strings this season as she just gets put in one terrible situation to the next. She has never had much luck with guys since the series began but this season she is seen over and over at her lowest points and as soon as things start to turn up for her, something else happens to bring her down.

Also, what is with Masuka's daughter? You would think if they were going to introduce her this late in the show that she would have some sort of impact. Maybe she will, but those scenes, besides adding some comic relief at times seem odd with some many other things they could be exploring with only a few episodes left.

They have already given away a spoiler for Episode 10 "Goodbye Miami" saying that someone close to Dexter will right in front of him. That clearly means either Harrison, Hannah or Deb. With all of Deb's bad luck, you would think she has it in for her, but something tells us that she has been turned into such a sympathetic figure that she will end of making it. It could be Harrison because Dexter has never been able to keep his own family safe from his "dark passenger" but we just have a feeling it will be Hannah.

One, we don't want to see Deb or Harrison die and two, this would send Dexter into a spiral and frankly he deserves it at this point. Dexter has always been overall likable until this season where he seems to throw everyone under the bus (more so than in the past) especially Deb. So it would make a trilling last few episodes to see how Dexter reacted after getting the rug (Hannah) pulled out from under him. Oliver gives the chilling line "Dexter, You Failed." But who is he talking about for sure? We will have to wait and find out.

Having Hannah, Dexter and Harrison stroll off into the sunset seems too easy, especially with as few twists as there have been with the main characters.

Batista still has time to discover that Deb killed LaGuerta and Quinn will be in the middle of everything at the end as well we assume with him reconnecting with Deb.

Deb's new boss, Jacob Elway, which we have really enjoyed, keeps learning more and more about Deb's background. He is getting closer to the truth of what is going on and the new teaser shows he and Dexter getting physical, so it will be interesting to see how much he learns. We are assuming he will die before the show is over.

So hopefully the last three episodes will make this last season worth it. Dexter the series started out so good and it has had its bumps in the road, we hope that it ends with an epic finish!

What would you guys like to see in the final episodes? How do you think everything will end? Let us know.
