It's getting to that point Dexter fans. We're chugging straight through Season 8, the final season of the Showtime smash hit.

Episode 4, "Scar Tissue" airs Sunday night, July 21, 2013 on Showtime.

During last week's episode, Dexter had to drug and kidnap a belligerently drunk Deb burst into the Miami PD and confessed to killing LaGuerta. Luckily for both Dexter and Deb, Quinn, the only one to hear Deb rattled the news off as nothing more than a double shot of whiskey and guilt.

Dexter left Deb handcuffed to her couch under the supervision of Dr. Vogel. According to the Episode 4 trailer promo, Vogel engages Deb into some pseudo-therapy sessions.

[Remember the last time Debra went to therapy? Wowza.]

Vogel teaches Deb about Dexter and how Harry knew of Dexter's condition. Instead of sending him off to an asylum, Vogel tells of how her and Deb's father worked together to keep Dexter functional with a code.

Meanwhile, Dexter has been scratching the names off of Vogel's former patient list and may have finally met a match in what appears to be a security guard with an interesting scar on the back of his head. A scar that resembles where the killer has been accessing his victim's post-mortem brains.

Also in the Dexter Season 8 Episode 4 trailer, Dexter uncovers some research Vogel has been compiling of him. Is it for another book she's writing? "The Psychopath with a Heart?" It has a nice ring to it.

Either way Dexter wants Vogel out of his life.
