Now that the 'Destiny' Beta is officially over, the only thing fans have left to do is wait for the official release of the game. A few weeks ago, it has been hinted that Destiny's PC release date will be sometime in March 2015.

For the consoles, the 'Destiny' game will be available for all platforms coming this September 9. The Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 will be getting their own ports of the game.

On Bungie's official website, Deej wrote about how the game was to define the company's independence after its detachment from Microsoft. Just above the article, the dare 09.09.2014 was used as a header, stating the official launch date.

"Destiny has always represented a new beginning for our team. It was born from brave possibilities. We dreamed of a renewed and independent Bungie. We found partners willing to bet big on some crazy new ideas with us," Deej wrote.

"We first shared the design pillars of Destiny less than one year ago. We promised to redefine what players should expect from a Bungie game. We said we wanted to change the way people play games together. We set the bar high. For us, Destiny represents a once in a lifetime opportunity," he added.

For a lot of hyped-up fans, the two month long wait until release can only be anything, but excruciatingly long. Even though the game was only revealed less than a year ago, it can be trusted that Bungie has been developing this game for a few years now. If it's anything like their first game 'Halo', then 'Destiny' might just revolutionize the first-person shooter genre once again.
