Destiny Pre-Order Beta Keys & Trailer Update: Xbox Users Unhappy With Shorter Beta Period & Less DLC [VIDEO]

The most anticipated FPS-game by creators Bungie and Activision, Destiny, is now available for pre-order on Amazon and Gamestop. Players who pre-order the game will be able to gain access to the Destiny Beta, set to open up to participants on July 17.

The game will be available for the PlayStation 3 & 4, as well as the Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

The main difference however, will be that Playstation 3 & 4 owners will be the first to gain access to the beta, a few days before Xbox users. The duration is also shorter for Xbox users where Playstation owners get 8 to 9 days of the beta, while Xbox owners only get 4 days.

Xbox users who are Bungie fans are complaining as to why they get a shorter beta time. The issue not only involves the beta, but the entirety of the game as well. Destiny first previewed in February when Sony was revealing their PlayStation 4.

There are also console-exclusive DLCs going for $60, but Xbox owners are unhappy when they discovered they are getting less DLC than the Playstation for the same price.

Bungie Community Manager, David Dague, responds to an Xbox fan's question on whether they would notice their pleas or continue ignoring them.

Dague simply said, "Who's ignoring you? We're right here; making a game we hope you'll love. We're listening to your questions, and answering the ones we can. If you're a gamer who wants to play a Bungie game, you're very much on our mind - every day."

Destiny is created by renowned game companies Bungie and Activision. Bungie is famed for creating the popular sci-fi shooter franchise, Halo. Just recently they detached from Microsoft at the end of their contract and whipped up Destiny.

The other creator, Activision, is most popular for their war shooter franchise, Call of Duty.
