‘Destiny’ New DLC Raid Gear Leak: Data Mining Unveils Upcoming Expansion Content

'Destiny' fans got a chance to learn about the new features, missions, and other items included in the game's upcoming expansion pack, through leaked information posted via Reddit.

Data mining techniques were used to discover the upgrades for the popular first-person shooter game. The leaked information was collected and posted by a Reddit user.

According to the post, new sets of raid gear will be available to the different classes in time for an upcoming event called "Crota's End," which was leaked last month.

Equipment for the mission includes helmets and chest pieces, such as the Deathsinger's Gaze and Mantle for the Warlock; the Willbreaker's Watch and Resolve for the Titan; and the Unyielding Casque and Relentless Harness for the Hunter.

The normal and hard difficulty levels for "Crota's End" is said to be at 30 and 32, respectively, leading fans to speculate that a level increase is included in the upcoming downloadable content.

Users will also be able to play a new Crucible player-versus-player mode called "Trials of Osiris." It was described in the leak as three-on-three battles set on Mercury.

Description for the mode stated, "Venture to Mercury and prove yourself as one of the Crucible's elite. Only the worthy may face the Trials of Osiris, for only the worthy are strong enough to endure what is to come."

Gameplay videos and screenshots of strike missions and unfinished maps on Venus, Mars and the Moon were also listed in the main post. Some users on YouTube have also uploaded instructions on how to get to the unmapped territories.

'Destiny' game developer Bungie has not confirmed that any of the leaked information will be released in the expansion packs. It said that while the upcoming content for DLCs has been finished, its still subject to change prior to the release in December.

'Destiny' is available on the PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One video game consoles for $59.99.
