Destiny Gold Chest Locations Revealed: Where To Find the Hidden Gold, and Which Missions?

Two days after 'Destiny' was released, gamers have already unlocked all locations of the Destiny Gold Chests. The loot chests vary in appearance and are hidden away in random areas all throughout Destiny's four main worlds: Earth, Moon, Mars, Venus.

A number of players reportedly found it a big challenge to collect 25 gold chests and 50 non-functional Ghost chests hidden away in all of the four worlds.

Several 'Destiny' players have already started revealing details for both the Dead Ghosts and Gold Chests on Moon, Mars, Venus and Earth.

There are 5 chests located in each of the worlds.

On Earth, the first chest is located on top of a desk at the start of the Restoration mission. The second chest, which is the first Gold Chest can be found near the river on the western side. The third Gold Chest is located in a cave near the Forgotten Shore to the Mothyards. The fourth chest is found during The Dark Within Mission after the battle with the Wizard inside the Lunar Complex. The final Gold chest is found at the battle area of the Sepiks Prime.

On the Moon, the chests are located in the Hive temple, beside a rock on a road between Archer's Line and Hellmouth, in a cave near the Archer's Line spawn point, after a World's Grave event from the 'Destiny' campaign and after a battle with the Guardians in the Hive's Summoning Pits.

On Venus, the first Gold chest is located between Ishtar Academy and Shattered Coast. The second chest can be found on Campus 9, the third in Winter's Lair, the fourth on a docked ship on the Ketch, and that last inside a cubicle in an office building in Ishtar Commons.

On Mars, the chests can be found at Cabal outpost, Barrens, Dust Palace, at the Legion's Keep in the Iron Line and lastly in Tharsis Junction during a 'Destiny' campaign.

Meanwhile, 'Destiny' has updated its game version recenlty to provide "more stability" for players who have been experiencing connection problems.

The maintenance intends to improve on several features of the game and primarily focuses on improving connection issues including connectivity failure and handling reduced beaver KTOs and logging of player disconnections.

Bungie also hosted an "Iron Banner Event" in 'Destiny' which started yesterday and will continue until Oct. 14, where players can battle in the Crucible and have a chance to earn a new rank.

'Destiny' is developed by the creators of 'Halo', Bungie, along with Activision and is an online first-person shooter game set in a futuristic and mythical world.

'Destiny' achieved record-breaking sales during its launch last September 9 on various gaming consoles such as Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.
