Demi Lovato Thanks Fans' Support After Father Dies / 'The X Factor' Season 3 Judge Preps New Single "Made in the USA" [VIDEO]
After the death of her estranged father, Demi Lovato reached out to fans on Twitter Sunday to thank her fans for helping her through such a trying time in her life.
"I feel so humbled to have had so much support from my fans, friends, family and complete strangers. God bless you all, thank you so much," Lovato tweeted yesterday.
Lovato, who is also a judge on The X Factor, missed auditions and a photo shoot over the weekend for Season 3. X Factor creator and fellow judge, Simon Cowell even showed his own brand of minimalist encouragement, tweeting: "My thoughts are with you Demi," he wrote yesterday.
It's not sure whether Demi and father Patrick Lovato were working on repairing their relationship before his sudden death. "The last time I talked to him was two years ago," Lovato toldNew York's Daily News in 2009. "When somebody lets you down after you've been the only one there for them, and so many times, you don't know what else to do."
Meanwhile, Lovato is about to unveil her second single from her fourth studio album Demi. "Made In the USA" will hit Top 40 radio on June 27. The same day the single is released, Lovato will perform as part of the Good Morning America concert series.
Though the release date for the "Made In the USA" music video as yet to be confirmed, the video [co-directed by Lovato] will feature a list of cameos from surprising actors.
