Demo Lovato is back in blonde, and looking gorgeous. The "Heart Attack" singer was seen showing off the new do at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration in Washington, DC Tuesday.

At the District of Columbia Community College event the X Factor judge talked a little about her three month rehab stint back in 2010.

"You're constantly asking yourself, 'What will happen if people know my diagnosis?" Lovato explained, while being honored with five other brave survivors. "For me, it was more complicated. 'Would I lose my career, doing what I love?' ... I pretended for a long time to be OK so that I could continue to work. And that's why I'm here today, to tell young people who are asking themselves those questions, uncertain of what lies ahead, that they are not alone."

The former Disney star not only dyed her hair blonde, but also trimmed it into a shorter bob with her bangs pushed to the side of her face. She looked fabulous and seemed genuinely happy.

Lovato, 20, has been known to change her styles up with the blink of an eye. She tried dying her hair blonde last year but that soon gave way to pink and blue highlights before going back to brunette...all in one year!

Some reports claim Lovato changed to the new hairstyle for her upcoming music video, "Made In The U.S.A." from her latest record DEMI.

Lovato recently confirmed she will back as a judge on the X Factor Season 3 Fall 2013.
