'Dark Souls 3' 1.05 Patch Notes: From Software Releases Update To Fix Errors, Adjust In-Game Features

New details on the "Dark Souls 3" patch have been unveiled and they include fixes and game features like weapons.

On June 9, From Software released a new "Dark Souls 3" upgrade for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows, as per PlayStation Lifestyle. The update, with app version 1.05 and regulation version 1.08, was designed to apply some fixes, modifications, and enhances on the entirety of the game to provide a much better gaming experience to players.

As per the publication, the "Dark Souls 3" patch covers fixes to the freeze when jumping into the fog after ringing the bell at the Archdragon Peak, proper start of the Rinfinger Leonhard quest following the restriction removal on the highest number of Pale Tongues that can be presented to Mother of Rebirth Rosaria, correct unlocking of trophies even the needed item is directly sent to the storage, and prevention of the added Horsehoof Ring's attacks aside from its initial kick effects.

According to Tech Times, other fixes provided by the new patch also include the skill change depending on a right hand weapon while equipping the White Hair Talisman on the left hand, the HP drain damage of Symbol of Avarice when at rest near the bonfire, the lack of synchronization between the spell animation and effect, the character's collision when summoning the white phantom NPC, and skills performance despite of inavailability of FP.

Some features have also been modified by the patch and these include, but not limited to attack cancel parameters, attack power and skills, twin blade weapons skills, stamina consumption, attack collision, and casting speed.

Prior to the live upgrade, "Dark Souls 3" was offline for two hours for the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. The timing for the Xbox update is yet to be revealed.
