According to Silver Times, The Punisher and Elektra could be part of the third season of "Daredevil." As per the publication, the former, played by John Bernthal, has boosted the intensity of the show when he appeared in season 2. His combat sequences with Charlie Cox's Daredevil grabbed the chances that his character is set to reappear in the forthcoming season.

Likewise, Elektra, who was played by Elodie Yung, effectively delivered brightness and humor in a disrupted realm in "Daredevil" season 2. As per the publication, the character managed to display man's fearless side, which fans considered as satisfactory. In fact, the dynamics between Elektra and Matt Murdock could be more sensual and sexual in "Daredevil" season 3 when compared to its predecessors.

According to Design and Trend, Karen has a dim origin, which served as a clue when she uncovered Ben Urich's file. As per the publication, the character told Murdock that she had a brother and there had been an accident, which she could have caused and killed her brother.

Elektra is also rumored to embrace her role as The Black Sky in "Daredevil" season 3. In the previous season, the character had died, but people dug up her grave and transferred her corpse to a huge ceramic coffin. This point in the show's story arc assumes that Elektra would rise again as The Black Sky, with additional speculations that she could be either an evil force or a pure soul.
