'Daredevil' Season 2 Release Date, Premiere, Cast: Elodie Yung Nails Her Role As Elektra Natchios?

The trailer for "Daredevil" Season 2 is out in Youtube right now and by what it has shown, the teaser hints that the new season might focus on Elektra.

Marvel released the two-minute and 32-second clip of the superhero series on Thursday, reports Vox. The second season to be aired on Netflix shows Elodie Yung nailing her role as Elektra Natchios. As per the original Marvel "Daredevil" comics, Elektra is one of the main characters who is an assassin and Matt Murdock's antihero "soul mate."

Based on the website's observation, the trailer appears to carry the quote "Better the devil you know than the devil you don't." The teaser also revealed the reason why she's back into Murdock's life, and their fighting scenes shared a glimpse of "groundbreaking choreography," like in the previous season.

The trailer is an addition to the featured heroes including Murdock, Frank Castle, Karen Page and Foggy Nelson, notes IGN. Meanwhile, the storyline for the series are still under wraps, so we might have to wait if they will be adapting the original story and bring it to television. The release date is still unknown as well.

"Daredevil" Season 2 features Charlie Cox as the lead actor, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Jon Bernthal as Franks Castle, Stephen Rider as Blake Tower, Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, among many others.
