Danielle Bradbery Interview, Shares on Winning "The Voice", Hunter Hayes, New Album & Not Feeling Famous (VIDEO)
"The Voice" is the biggest singing competition on TV, overtaking "American Idol" in the ratings officially this year and the Season 4 finale was a good one.
Danielle Bradbery of Team Blake was eventually crowned the winner of Season 4 on the Finale last Tuesday.
Danielle Bradbery, with her girl next door good looks, exceptionally strong voice for being only 16 and her love for country music can all help her become maybe the success story of not only this season but of the whole 'Voice' show so far.
Cassadee Pope, last years winner, also with Team Blake, is doing well with her new single, "Wasting all These Tears" and has landed an opening spot on Rascal Flatts current tour.
So Pope is definitely setting the bar so far right now, but Pope's only downfall is that she is not a true country artist. She was known before "The Voice" as fronting the pop/punk band, Hey Monday, and while on "The Voice" she sang mostly pop rock songs, seeming to want to go in the Kelly Clarkson style.
However, with the pushing of her coach Blake Shelton, is working on country music. Her initial single is doing great, I'm just not sure country fans will fully embrace her if it doesn't seem authentic. She will have to work hard to win over the country crowd.
This is where Danielle Bradbery has the advantage. Danielle from the start made it clear that she wanted to be a country artist and Blake Shelton has only reinforced that.
At the finale, she sang "I Want Crazy" with Hunter Hayes and it was dynamic. If you didn't know which one was the country star, it would've been hard to tell which one was which. She handled the stage great with Hayes and sounded fantastic.
If she can just get in one good duo with Hayes or another country artist to get her past just being a "Voice" winner, she should have a long and very successful career in country music.
