"Dancing With the Stars" Season 19, Week 5 News: ABC Releases Dance Styles for New Dancing Pairs

ABC has switched pairs for the "Dancing with the Stars" Seaon 19, Week 5, and also released the new pairs as well as the dance styles they would be performing.

In addition, fans will see singer Jessie J. as the guest judge in Week 5, as she will be filling in the absence of Len Goodman, in addition to performing in the show.

In fact, the new dancing pairs will be performing some styles that are rather unusual. In addition to classics such as the Charleston and the Jitterbug, the stars will take on Broadway, Bollywood, Burlesque, Disco as well as Hip-Hop. There is no doubt that it will be an unusual night.

As far as the Switch-Up is concerned, the ladies have exchanged partners, while Sadie and Bethany trading for Mark and Derek, Lea and Janel switched Artem and Val. As for the men, Alfonso will collaborate with Cheryl Burke (possibily something good for Cheryl), while Antonio will team up with Allison.

The new pairs and their dance styles announced by ABC are as below:

  • Janel Parrish and Artem Chigvintsev: Burlesque
  • Bethany Mota and Mark Ballas: Hip-Hop
  • Jonathan Bennett and Peta Murgatroyd: Jitterbug
  • Sadie Robertson and Derek Hough: Charleston
  • Michael Waltrip and Witney Carson: Disco
  • Lea Thompson and Val Chmerkovskiy: Broadway
  • Antonio Sabato, Jr. and Allison Holker: Bollywood
  • Tommy Chong and Emma Slater: Mambo
  • Alfonso Ribeiro and Cheryl Burke: Flamenco

It appears that all the female stars have made lateral moves, as all the remaining four male pros are fairly talented. Among the male participants, Jonathan should be getting a boost as he has a real ballroom pro like Peta in place of Allison. Even Cheryl should enjoy somebody as talented as Alfonso.

The Switch-Up challenge of "Dancing with the Stars" airs on Monday, Oct. 13, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
