‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 19 News: Dance Styles and Song Choices for Week 6
As the contestants return to their old teams, "Dancing With the Stars" fans are ready to see the old chemistry run on to week 6.
It has been revealed the different dancing styles and songs that the contestants are going to dance to this week.
According to Pure DWTS, there are couples dancing on Pitbull songs. However, this is not the entire theme of the week because there are others assigned to Latin and Jazz dances. Ballroom was also included in the roster.
Jonathan could make a comeback since Jazz seems fitting to his partnership with Allison. But Mike might get "screwed" in the Argentine tango routine. Tommy, however, could do good or bad on his foxtrot, which is his first "true" ballroom dance, so it will be interesting to see him dance this type of flare.
Janel, top among the dancers, will probably receive good reviews for her upcoming samba dance this week since the show would "need her to have a comeback week," as Pure DTWS reports.
Meanwhile, it seems that it is going to be a downward turn for Sadie Robertson after receiving low scores from the judges last week. It could be the same fate for Alfonso. It is reported that Alfonso's team will dance a salsa this week, but this could be a big risk for them since this is an unknown territory for Alfonso.
As for the song assignments, there's still no reveals on Janel's set but they will dance a samba.
Bethany's team will have a tango to "Jealous (I ain't with it)" by Chromeo.
Sadie and Mark Ballas will have a rumba routine to "Diamonds" by Rihanna.
Alfonso's tricky salsa will be on the beats of "Booty" by Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull. The other salsa team is Lea and Artem, who will be dancing on "Sexy People (The Fiat Song)" by Arianna feat. Pitbull.
Tommy and Peta, who were considered to be one of the weaker teams, are preparing for a Foxtrot to "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire.
Here's the list for the other teams:
Emma Slater & Michale Waltrip: Argentine Tango
Cheryl Burke & Antonio Sabato Jr: Salsa
Allison Holker & Jonathan Bennet: Jazz to "Back in Time" by Pitbull
