Dancing With the Stars 2014 Season 18 Full Cast List: Candace Cameron Bure Joins Show; Fans Urge Not to Conform 'To This World'

The new cast of "Dancing With the Stars" has been announced, naming outspoken Christian actress Candace Cameron Bure as one of the celebrity competitors. Fans urge the starlight to uphold her Christian principles while on the show.

Bure who is popularly known as the sweetheart child actress from Full House will be teaming up with professional dancer Mark Ballas for season 18 of "Dancing With the Stars."

Bure recently caused a stir in Hollywood for words used in her new book titled "Balancing It All." The actress endured media scrutiny and criticism for a taking a "submissive" role to her husband, former hockey player Valeri Bure.

Mother of three, Bure, accredits her faith in God to the woman she is today. She explains in her new book that God is first for her and it is how she is able to keep a level head as a full time working actress, mom and wife.

With news of Bure joining the celebrity performers on ABCs famous dancing competition, fans immediately began to encourage the actress on social media to maintain and showcase her admired Christian values while on the show.

"So happy for you! Let your light shine, Candace and we will be cheering you on!" one fan posted.

Since the show is known for its exotic dance routines and risqué female wardrobe choices another fan is hoping Bure will make a stand posting, "Excited to see your wardrobe choices. Hoping for classy, MODEST, beautiful outfits. We're counting on you!" Another adding, "Please don't be like the rest, keep it clean! Do not be conformed to this world! God Bless you!"

Many others were just happy that the actress was allotted such an opportunity.

"WOW!!! I'm impressed they're having such an outspoken Christian on an ABC Show!! PTL," someone else noted. Others asking Bure to "remember who" she is and represents.

"Praying for your safety while dancing and your winning attitude and love for God to shine thru. Go TEAM CANDACE," the comments continued.

The media already has surveys asking fans which former child actress they are rooting for most, 37-year-old Bure or Wonder Years actress 39-year-old Danica McKellar.

With the outward stand Bure has taken so far as a voice for Christians in Hollywood, it is difficult to believe that she will not use this new venture as an opportunity to represent a Godly woman.

Her family has been criticized before for sticking to Biblical principles. Her brother, former Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron was criticized in 2012 for comments he made about gay marriage to CNN's Piers Morgan.
