Dancing With the Stars 2014 Season 18 Cast News: Brooke Burke-Charvet Speaks About Erin Andrews Replacing Her
This season news has been revealed that Brook Burke-Charvet will no longer be co-hosting the reality show Dancing With The Stars, but will be replaced by Erin Andrews, a television sports reporter and journalist for Fox news. Brook recently vented on in a statement to E! Online a little bit of what was on her mind.
First news of this abrupt an unforeseen co-host swap came with a tweet from the 10th season champion and past eight season co-host of dancing with the stars that, in fact, she would not be returning for the next season of the show. The television personality gave a heads up to all of her followers on Twitter that she had alerted to a: "Shocking pre-season elimination #DWTS...ME @Tom_Bergeron didn't even read my name. I won't be returning to the show this season."
Burke then consented to a short interview with E! News online in which she elaborated on her feelings about the recent dismissal: "I've always been one to embrace change and looking forward to pursuing opportunities I previously wasn't able to entertain because of contractual obligations to the show," she said. She then continued in a slightly less charitable tone: "I've seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom but this one takes the cake."
The new season of Dancing with the Stars will premiere on Monday, March 17 at 8 P.M. Tom Bergeron, host of all previous 18 seasons, will be presenting the latest season along with Erin Andrews.
