The Dallas Mavericks will battle with the Philadelphia 76ers on November 13 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

The Mavericks (5-3) are looking to extend their current winning streak to two games when they face the pathetic 76ers on Thursday night.

Dallas recently defeated the Sacramento Kings by a final score of 106-98 on November 11 after Mavericks' longtime superstar Dirk Nowitzki scored 29 points to propel his team to the win.

"You know to pass 'The Dream' is unbelievable," said Nowitzki to reporters after passing NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwon for ninth place on the all-time scoring list (26,953 career points so far for the German future NBA HOF).

"He was unguardable on the block. His footwork, his skill level, his hands, his touch was second to none, so I'm pretty proud."

Meanwhile, the lowly 76ers (0-7) are looking win their first game of the season and prevent a possible eight game losing streak when they face the Mavericks in the "Lone Star State."

Previously, Philadelphia fell to the Toronto Raptors by a score of 120-88 on Sunday night after Sixers shooting guard Tony Wroten scored 18 points in the defeat.

"They are one of the best teams in the East right now," said Wroten to reporters, "They played great tonight."

76ers head coach Brett Brown expressed his disappointment regarding his squad's latest loss, where the Raptors remain undefeated at home in Toronto (4-0) this year.

"We came in here and we got manhandled. They have elite athletes who can score and we got jumped," said 76ers coach Brett Brown to reporters.

"I felt like we got dispirited for the first time. We didn't do anything we talked about on offense in regards to sharing the ball. I thought it got ugly quick."
