The Dallas Mavericks (36-25) will face off against the Denver Nuggets (25-34) at Pepsi Center tonight in Denver. The game will start at 8:00p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

Dallas has not defeated any of its probable first-round opponents in over two months. Currently, Mavericks are one of four teams in a close battle for the last three playoff spots in the Western Conference.

The Mavericks will need to defeat the Portland Trailblazers on Friday night to in order to have a serious chance at making the playoffs. In addition, Dallas have to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder when they face the squad twice in nine days. Furthermore, Mavericks would also have to beat the Los Angeles Clippers in a pair of games a week apart.

"Not necessarily just for confidence but also because we want to stay in the playoff hunt," said Nowitzki to reporters adding. "If we keep losing against the good teams, most of our games left are against teams with winning records. We've got to keep winning at a high clip if we want to make it and so the pressure's on. You gotta love it."

A 112-106 loss to the Spurs on Sunday dropped Dallas to 0-6 against the best five teams in the West since a win versus the Houston Rockets on Dec. 23.

The Nuggets have lost six games in a row and 11 of 12 after a 132-128 defeat to Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night. However, Denver won its first two games versus Dallas this season in the span of three days late in November and has won four of their last five games in the series.
