Cowboys vs Texans 2014 Preview, Game Start Time: Tony Romo vs Ryan Fitzpatrick NFL Game Details [VIDEO]
The Dallas Cowboys faces their fellow Lone Star State opponents the Houston Texans on October 5 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
The Cowboys (3-1) are looking to build upon their most recent win against the New Orleans Saints by 38-17, as Dallas looks to stretch their winning streak to four games.
Cowboys' explosive running back DeMarco Murray has totaled five touchdowns and 534 yards so far this season, which leads the NFL in those respective categories.
As a result, the four year NFL player is now linked with iconic football Hall of Famers Jim Brown, Emmitt Smith and O.J. Simpson as the only football athletes to begin their respective first four matches of the NFL season with at least a touchdown and rushing for 100 yards.
Cowboys QB Tony Romo mentioned how thrilled he is with his team's performance before they enter their upcoming matchup with the Texans.
"I think what you find is that we are consistently doing the same things each week, and in the past we weren't able to do that," said Romo to reporters.
Cowboys defensive tackle Henry Melton talked about his team's success, despite the recent injuries to Rolando McClain, Sean Lee and Justin Durant.
"We've just got a lot of guys that go to work, just practice and want to win," said Melton to reporters, "It doesn't just take all the big names to be a good defense."
Meanwhile, The Texans (3-1) are looking to defeat their familiar adversary in their upcoming game with the Cowboys, after Houston beat the Buffalo Bills by a score of 23-17 on Sunday.
"We have to keep making sure that we stick the run in there. We can't just throw it 55 or 60 times a game and get away with that," said Texans head coach Bill O'Brien to reporters, "We've got to figure out how to run the ball better from a coaching standpoint and from a playing standpoint."
The Texans are looking to extend their winning streak to two games despite the fact their QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has thrown five interceptions in the previous two games.
The upcoming game will begin at 1:00 pm ET and can be watched on TV via the CBS network.
