The Cowboys (6-2) are looking to rebound from their recent heartbreaking loss to their NFC East rivals the Washington Redskins by a final score of 20-17, as Dallas' previous five game winning streak was snapped.
"I don't know that I've ever seen anybody who has a tougher will, his mind, and it helps him tremendously with pain threshold," said longtime Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to reporters in reference to his star QB Tony Romo's previous back injury.
"Combination of those two things, he's as tough-minded and physically tough a player as I've ever been around."
Romo revealed his thoughts about his team's latest defeat after he went 17-28 for 209 yards, highlighted by only throwing a touchdown in the aforementioned game where he was sacked a whopping five times.
"Even if I hadn't had back surgery, I probably would have felt that one pretty good," said Romo to reporters in reference to the sack he received from Redskins linebacker Keenan Robinson in the third quarter, "It was a direct shot."
Meanwhile, The Cardinals (6-1) are attempting to win their fourth straight game, and two-time Pro-Bowler QB Carson Palmer hopes to lead his their squad to the win against Cowboys this Sunday.
The Cardinals previously defeated the Philadelphia Eagles by a final score of 24-20 this past Sunday after Palmer went 20 of 42 passes for 329 yards with two touchdown passes, highlighted an impressive 80-yard TD.
"We realize we can play better," said Palmer to reporters, "I think we're realistic in that we can play better and we need to play better.
