Daft Punk New Album 2013 Details & Giorgio Moroder Speaks on New Publicity For Collaboration on Daft Punk's New Album
Disco legend Giorgio Moroder is getting new attention for a song that people have not even heard yet.
This is what happens when you collaborate and even associate with a band as popular as Daft Punk. Moroder has claimed that "everybody" wants to work with him now, following his recent work with Daft Punk.
The track 'Giorgio By Moroder' features The Italian synth pioneer the forthcoming new album Random Access Memories and, in an interview with Billboard, he discussed the publicity he had received since it was revealed he was on the record.
"Since the publicity of the Daft Punk song, which is not even out yet, it's like everybody wants me now," said Moroder, who also revealed he had since received offers to from different management companies. "I'm sure once I go with one I'm going to have a lot of work."
Giorgio engineered some of Donna Summer's biggest hits and said, "Daft Punk wanted to do something and do it in a way that's not done by just pushing a note or a chord," he said. "You definitely hear that it's nice and full; the drums and the bass have that warm, that full sound. This is like a step forward."
Daft Punk's first single off the new album 'Get Lucky', which features Pharrell Williams on vocals, has already become a hit on itunes and has broken Spotify records by becoming the most streamed song in a 24-hour period in the UK and US.
Random Access Memories, being released on May 21st will also feature spots from Julian Casablancas (The Strokes), Todd Edwards, Panda Bear, Chilly Gonzales and the legendary Nile Rodgers.
