Daft Punk is back in 2013 with a new tour and a new album Random Access Memories. Their latest single "Get Lucky" that they released three days ago already hit #1 on iTunes charts in France and the U.K. [#3 in the U.S.] and set the record for "biggest streaming day for a single track" on U.S. and U.K. Spotify charts, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

To promote their first studio album in eight years, Daft Punk is planning an international 2013 tour. Daft Punk, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter were originally rumored to kick off the 2013 tour in a tiny Australian town called Wee Waa. Now reports are circulating the Web, the duo will only use Wee Waa as an online streaming party, and instead of performing will only play music videos and stream the album across the globe. So Daft Punk fans, if you were hardcore enough to travel to Australia to see the band perform live, you may want to wait for the some confirmation before you buy your plane tickets.

Daft Punk's Random Access Memories features contributions from American musician Nile Rodgers and N.E.R.D. founder Pharell Williams. After a recent performance in Brooklyn, the French-dup praised Pharell as "a born performer" who exudes "a lot of elegance" on stage.

Daft Punk's new album Random Access Memories is scheduled for a May 21^st release via Columbia Records.
