Signaling the end of Interleague play, the Arizona Diamondbacks travel to Wrigley Field to take on the streaking Chicago Cubs. Coming off a three game sweep of inner city rivals, the Chicago White Sox, the Cubs are hoping to win five in a row for the first time in two years.

Luckily for the Cubs, Alfonso Soriano is a hitting machine against the Arizona Diamondbacks. In his last 21 games against the team, he's hit 14 home runs and 28 RBIs. It will be Diamondbacks pitcher Wade Miley's job to prevent the right-handed hitter from going yard in Friday's game.

Miley's last start gave no indication, the pitcher could handle the task. In a 10-4 loss to the Padres last weekend, Miley gave up 7 of those runs in less than 4 innings.

"It hurt a little bit but it goes away," said Miley. "I just didn't make pitches again. It wasn't like I was throwing good and the comebacker happened (then) I threw bad. I was just very inconsistent through and through."

Pitcher Matt Garza gets the start for the Chicaco Cubs. Though Garza too is coming off a rough performance Sunday, giving up 4 runs in 4 innings to the Cincinnati Reds, is also looking for redemption against the Diamondbacks. Garza, however, is 2-1 with a 2.45 ERA lifetime against Arizona.
