'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' Season 14 Spoilers: Writer 'Takes our CSIs into a Very Dark' Place

Tonight's all new episode of CBS hit crime drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" takes the show somewhere it has never gone before. For spoilers from the writer of tonight's episode, read on.

Tom Mularaz wrote tonight's episode and he recently discussed the disturbing twist of the show during an interview with TV Guide. Tonight's episode is titled "Consumed" and will focus on cannibalism.

"It takes our CSIs into a very dark, shockingly thriving subculture of Las Vegas known as the vore world, where people fantasize about eating - or being eaten by - other living creatures," Mularz said of the show.

The writer went on to discuss why he wanted to write an episode focusing on cannibalism.

"There's something about cannibalism that is so taboo and forbidden and disgusting that we, as a culture, don't want to think about it - but we can't stop our minds from going there," he said to TV Guide.
