Fans of hit ABC medical drama series, Grey's Anatomy, are still reeling from the news that actress Sandra Oh will officially leave the series after the current Season 10 finale following a decade of working on the show. Her co-stars past and present have now come out to talk about Dr. Cristina Yang's impact on the show and how they Sandra Oh will be missed on the set.

Oh along with Ellen Pompeo (who plays as the main protagonist Dr. Meredith Grey), Patrick Dempsey (who plays as Dr. Derek Shepherd aka McDreamy), James Pickens, Jr. (who plays as Dr. Richard Webber) and Chandra Wilson (who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey), have all been on the show since it debuted in 2005. Now Oh bids the series and her memorable character farewell.

"We kicked some serious acting a** together," said Ellen Pompeo to TV Guide. "I am very proud of the work we've done together over the last decade."

Like Pompeo, Justin Chambers was honored to work with Oh for so many years, he thinks the show will never be the same after this year's Season Finale.

"It's going to be completely bizarre," said Chambers (Dr. Alex Karev). "It's going to be a huge hole for us because she's such a huge part of Grey's. Her intelligence and talent is felt, and it ripples throughout the show... She's so talented. There's going to be great stuff for her in the future."

Series regular Dempsey echoes both Chambers and Pompeo's viewpoints.

"She has a tremendous work ethic that was always inspiring," said Dempsey, according to TV Guide. "One of my favorite moments with Sandra actually came from this season, when we sat down and had a really nice conversation reflecting on the past 10 years."

Former "Grey's Anatomy" co-star Katherine Heigl, who has since gone on to star in a stream of Hollywood movies, also went on social media to comment on the Oh's upcoming exit.

"I wish her all the best," wrote Heigl via Twitter on May 1. "Can't wait to see what she does next!"

Oh revealed last year that she planned to leave the series.

"It's been a great privilege to play the character of Cristina Yang on GA and I am both sad and excited to see where this, her final season will take her," said Oh to Eonline in August 2013.

"Grey's Anatomy" airs every Thursday at 9 p.m. on ABC. In addition, the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 10 Finale airs on May 15, 2014 on the ABC network.
