Fans of soccer super star Cristiano Ronaldo are absolutely shocked and appalled about the recent revelation that has been made about his life. The soccer star's mother has revealed in a recent book that there was a time when she had considered the idea of aborting her baby.

Ronaldo who is famous for not only wearing the number ten jersey for Portugal in international games, but also for playing for the well known Spanish football club Real Madrid, may have not been around to do so.

No doubt his friends and well wishers are going to take some time to react to this shocking revelation made by his own mother, Dolores Aveiro.

Aveiro in her recently dated autobiography tells us that she had taken attempts to abort the fetus on her own since the doctor whom she had approached for the purpose had not been willing to help her out.

There were times when she would drink warm liquor such as ale and run for hours on end in order to be able to abort her unborn child. However, all of her attempts had proven not to be successful.

Ronaldo is believed not to have attended the book launch owing to work related reasons.

According to Aveiro, Ronaldo is aware of this entire abortion attempt and still chooses to be close to her. With him running the finances of the house, he couldn't care less about any shocking revelations that are made concerning him.
