‘Criminal Minds’ Season 10 Spoilers: Episode 2 Recap, Look Forward to Episode 3 ‘A Thousand Suns’ - Focus on Kate’s Backstory
CBS Crime Drama 'Criminal Minds' will air Episode 3 titled "A Thousand Suns" which unveils a special new case involving a plane crash and a look inside Kate Callahan's memories and tragic events that happened in her past.
Episode 2 "Burn" featured a slew of abductions and murders in Seattle caused by a criminal seeking revenge. On another note, Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) goes to Texas to confront the man she shot as he is sentenced in a death row.
Meanwhile, fans can view a sneak peek of the upcoming episode of 'Criminal Minds', "A Thousand Suns" released by CBS.
"When a passenger jet crashes in Colorado, the BAU team is called to build a profile around the suspicious circumstances. Also, the case hits close to home for Kate, who is reminded of a family tragedy," reads the synopsis revealed by Carter Matt.
The spoiler video reveals a tragic plane crash with the flight passengers startled about the incident.
The plane crash is reportedly caused by a perilous suspect who is also responsible for several other plane crashes.
Aside from that, the new episode will also feature a new part of the BAU team as it backtracks into new FBI agent Kate Callahan's (Jennifer Love Hewitt) past.
The new episode will reveal Callahan's backstory, which the viewers reportedly do not have that much knowledge of.
Callahan debuted in 'Criminal Minds' in Season 10's premiere episode titled "X." She entered the show after a shocked Alex Blake (Jeanne Tripplehorn) abruptly quit the FBI after Dr. Spencer Reid's (Matthew Gray Gubler) gunshot wounds.
Callahan took up criminal psychology and is an experienced FBI agent, working in the organization for eight years, making her a perfect candidate to work in the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI.
For those who may not know, 'Criminal Minds' revolves around a team of profilers from the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) that profiles and scrutinizes the criminal rather than the crime itself.
'Criminal Minds' Season 10 Episode 2, "A Thousand Suns" premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 15 on CBS.
