Covert Affairs Mid-Season Finale  "Levitate Me"  [Episode Recap] Is Annie Really Dead? [Spoilers Inside]

If you missed Tuesday's Covert Affairs mid-season finale you may not want to continue reading because I am about to spoil the crap out of it for you. In "Levitate Me", Covert Affairs mid-season finale things took a surprising turn. Annie Walker was shot and killed by a hitman, while Calder's people watched the whole thing on a monitor. The hitman reported, "Operative Walker is dead. I repeat, Annie Walker is dead," Calder replied, "It had to be done."

Or so he thought because Annie had teamed up Auggie and Eyal to in fact fake her own death, but staged it as if Calder had it done himself. After Annie's body is wheeled into an ambulance, however, Eyal climbs in and injects her with a shot to awaken her. He then drops her off with a bag and a Moussad file on Henry's ex at a train station. "So is this really the end of Annie Walker?" he asks. "Yes," she says.

Will this mean that when the show returns, Annie will be out of the CIA and on the run? Possibly, Piper Perabo explained during an interview exactly why Annie had to die, she said "Annie has gotten into so much trouble that the only way to protect the people she cares about is to fake her own death."

The dead Annie Walker will be returning to the show for season 4 of Covert Affairs, which will continue October 17. Stay tuned for more updates.
