"Working on a Building" Video Set To Air On GAC's "Out of the Box" Today, "Positively GAC" on Sunday
New Haven Records President Ken Harding has announced that the video for "Working On A Building," from the CD of the same name, featuring Country music superstar Trace Adkins, Marty Raybon (former lead singer of Shenandoah), Jimmy Fortune (of The Statler Brothers), and Country Music Association Award winner T. Graham Brown is scheduled to air today on Great American Country's (GAC) Out of the Box video show and will begin airing 8 to 10 a.m. E.T. Sunday on Positively GAC, the cable network's show offering country music videos with a spiritual and positive message.
Shot by Emmy, Addy and Telly Award-winning director Stan Moore of MP Films, the video for the single features Adkins, Raybon, Fortune and Brown, all music legends in their own right, in the studio singing the Gospel standard intercut with time-lapse scenes of a church being erected in a third world country.
The single is the centerpiece of the CD project, which released Spring 2012. The CD, which includes an inspiring collection of new and existing songs, was created exclusively to benefit the work of International Cooperating Ministries. A Who's Who of Country superstars including Alan Jackson, Buddy Jewell, Aaron Tippin, George Jones and Glen Campbell also contributed tracks to the collection.
"The Working On A Building CD project not only embodies great vocal performances by some renowned country artists, but it helps raise awareness for International Cooperating Ministries (ICM), which has built more than 4,000 churches, orphanages and schools during the past 25 years," says Harding.
Mark L. Carman, the CD's producer and ICM's director of Radio & TV, is thrilled by the video's exposure to-date.
"There were over 30,000 new online views of this video on VEVO last week alone, and we expect an exponential increase over the coming months as we partner with Salem Broadcasting, Solid Gospel Radio, and Singing News Magazine on a massive promotion to help build churches in places where just a few years ago it was illegal to own a Bible," Carman says.
Additional media outlets are set to come onboard in the coming weeks, according to Vince Wilcox, New Haven Records director of marketing. Anyone interested in obtaining a broadcast copy of the video should inquire with Craig Bann at AristoMedia (cbann@aristomedia.com).
"We are honored to be partnering with AristoMedia Group to secure more broadcast and online outlets for this inspiring performance," Wilcox says. "Additionally, this project is showing up in a number of categories on the nominating ballot for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards."
"We are so appreciative to everyone who has already given 'Working On A Building' a look and a listen," says Harding. "It's a contagious performance by legendary artists supporting a terrific cause. Artists, managers, and labels have caught the vision of what can happen when everyone rolls up their sleeves to 'be the difference.'"
