Are you a fan of Christian rock group Skillet? Then you probably know the band will be performing at Rock the River music festival in Eagle River, Wisconsin on August 24^th.

As always Rock the River will have an awesome lineup including bands such as P.O.D., The Halo Method, Hawthorne Heights, IAMDYNAMITE, James Durbin, Go Fight, Model Stranger, Dead on TV and Nudge.

What's great about this year, Skillet is teaming up with the Rock the River to bring you and/or your band on stage.

Official contest rules [from Gigg.com]

- Create a music video showcasing of you or your band. We must see you perform in the video.  A slide show of pictures with audio is not acceptable.
- Entry/start time: Tuesday July 12th 2013.
- Submission period will be short, so get your videos in now! Tournament start date is Friday August 9.
- Points are based on FB likes, Tweets, and Gigg votes. Points will determine ranking/seeding.

The top 64 contestants, based on the contest point system, will go head-to-head in 2-day long rounds.

Round 1 - August 9^th
Round 2 - August 11^th
Sweet 16 - August 13^th
Elite 8 - August 15^th
Final Four - August 17^th
Finals - August 19^th

The winner will be decided by the fan vote, Rock the River judge vote, the Gigg judge vote and announced Wednesday August 21^st.

All contestants must reside in North America.
