'Constantine' Premiere Date, Spoilers: New DC Comics Superhero Series Debuts October 24 on NBC

'Constantine' is a new show that premieres on NBC this October 24 and is the third series starter this Fall that's based on DC Comics characters. The other superhero based shows that premiered this year are 'Gotham' on Fox Network, and 'The Flash' on CW.

The 'Constantine' cast consists of Matt Ryan of 'Criminal Minds' fame who plays the quirky, brooding and engaging role of John Constantine, the occultist. The show is produced by Daniel Cerone of 'Dexter' fame and David S Goyer of 'The Dark Knight Rises' fame.

'Constantine' will be different than the other two starters, it will not be a comic series like 'Gotham' or 'The Flash'. This show will fall more along the lines of CW's 'Supernatural', however, it is based off the DC comic book, 'Hellblazer'.

The comic is based on a demon hunter who is weary of the world and has been damned in the fires of hell. Although soulless, Constantine wards off the evil forces with unforeseen wits and his superior dark arts.

The first episode of 'Constantine' focuses on Liv's role and her relationship with Constantine. It is also anticipated that Liv will be joining Constantine's teams as she has gained some powers, which line up with the evil protagonist.

Hence, in order to know if Liv will be joining or will Griffith be out of the show, watch out for the episodes of Constantine which premieres on Friday, October 24, at 10 pm EDT/EST.
