Cleveland will battle their Central divisional foes the Chicago Bulls on Friday night, after NBA superstar Lebron James made his long awaited return as a member of the Cavaliers versus the Knicks (on October 30).
"It means everything to be able to open our NBA campaign here in Cleveland with these fans. It's going to be a special moment," said James to reporters prior to the Cavaliers season opener.
"We can't take it for granted. You don't get moments like this, they don't come around every day."
James also revealed his thoughts concerning his team being regarded by many sports experts as the favorite to win the NBA championship this season.
"I don't want to talk about it too much because then it could be used as a sound bite," said James to reporters.
"So I'm not even going to get involved in that right now. We've got a long way to go."
Meanwhile, the Bulls are looking to defend their home court versus the very formidable Cavaliers in the "Windy City" at the United Center.
The Bulls previously demolished the Knicks by the final score of 104-80 on October 29, after newest Chicago power forward Pau Gasol torched New York after totaling 21 points and 11 rebounds in his Bulls debut.
"I think it's a lot of pressure off his [Chicago point guard Derrick Rose's] shoulders because we have, I think, a variety of weapons, so he doesn't have that pressure on himself to be able to score and force things," said Gasol to reporters after the game.
The game will start at 8:00 pm ET and it can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through live stream by clicking here.
