Cleveland Cavaliers NBA 2015 News, Rumors: Kevin Love Back Injury Problems Continue

The Cleveland Cavaliers are roughly where everyone expected them to be after LeBron James announced his return to northeast Ohio. After a slow start to the season, they have picked up complementary pieces for a deep playoff push, James is back to being an MVP candidate, and Kyrie Irving has been as good as advertised.

If there's one part of the Cavs' scheme that was projected to be better than it currently is, it's Kevin Love. Over the weekend, the former All-Star spoke about the back issues that have plagued him since the start of the season.

"It's something I want to get right before we get to the playoffs, because that's what's most important at this point," Love told ESPN over the weekend, "It's not something that's"”I'm going to have to address my body. But I address my body every offseason. I'll go from my toe all the way up to my head to try and figure out how to better my body for next season. It's not something that's going to bother me down the road."

The media has had a field day with Love all season, spinning quotes to conjure juicy narratives for the 26-year-old whose numbers are down this season, and missed the All-Star game after being named to the 2nd Team All-NBA last season.

"Everything is easier when you're winning. You can have some really good games, and then some tough times. The rotation might be different, but as long as you're winning, it kind of makes up for everything. And that's the kind of way it's been here," he said.

The Cavs have been playing well, surging their way to second place in the East after a tough start.

For the season, Love is averaging 16.8 points and 10.1 rebounds in 64 games with the Cavs, while shooting 43 percent from the field, and 36.4 percent from three.
