Clair Diaz-Ortiz, Nick Hall, and Clay Crosse to Speak at NRB Convention 2013 (March 2-5)
The annual NRB convention brings together some brilliant Christians to talk about the fate of their faith in an increasingly secularized world. This year is no exception.
Sharing the Main Platform during NRB 2013 is:
Claire Diaz-Ortiz, social innovation leader at Twitter.
Nick Hall, founder of PULSE, a Minneapolis-St. Paul-based nonprofit organization at the center of the largest student-led prayer and outreach efforts in America will be there.
DOVE award-winning contemporary Christian music artist, Clay Crosse, will be speaking.
Biographer and radio commentator for BreakingPoint, Eric Metaxas will be on the guest list. He's best known for Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery about William Wilberforce and Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy about Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
"The Queen of Clean", Chonda Pierce, a Christian comedienne will provide some good wholesome humor at the conference with a Minnie Pearl impression or two.
Widely syndicated radio broadcaster and pastor, Dr. Tony Evans will share his thoughts on his national ministry The Urban Alternative.
Another speaker is Katie Harbath. She is a Manager for Policy at Facebook, where she focuses on political outreach. Prior to Facebook, Katie was the Chief Digital Strategist at the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
Gospel singer and songwriter Russ Taff, Raul Ries of Somebody Loves YouMinistries, and Joni Eareckson Tada of Joni and Friends are also scheduled guest speakers.
The goal of the National Religious Broadcasters Convention & Exposition in Nashville, TN is to join brilliant Christians together and decide the fate of their religion in a world being dominated by media technologies. They will shape the course of the new year as it relates to Christianity on the radio, TV, internet..etc.
